From Jamie Stamey, CCD:
As you know, quantitative and analytical skills are essential in virtually every industry. However, sometimes our students don’t always realize that having demonstrable evidence of these skills will be a tangible asset as they pursue their professional goals. I’m reaching out to request your assistance in helping your students see how these skills will benefit them in their future careers – whether in finance and business or even in nonprofit administration, policy, healthcare, education, and more!
If you are unfamiliar, Training the Street has become the training standard for finance and professional services firms, business professionals, and undergraduate and graduate students. By incorporating a dynamic mix of live instruction, class collaboration, and technical fundamentals, TTS will teach you real-world applications of finance theory in a way that brings finance fundamentals to life.
This fall, our focus is on Financial Statement Analysis & Corporate Valuation. These skills are critical to understanding how business decisions can have an impact on an organization and also determining a company’s worth. We are delighted to have secured corporate sponsorship so we are able to offer this high-value seminar to students at no cost to students or Davidson College. It is important to note that students who register to participate in this course must attend, or there will be a cost implication; our corporate sponsorship applies only if the student shows up, and we anticipate high demand for this program.
